Unibet is a fairly well known European gambling brand, who first started operations in 1997. Now part of the huge Kindred umbrella company, Unibet is a force to be reckoned with in the online casino field. They have clean branding, a smooth website and 30+ live casino titles for you to browse at your pleasure. Oh and they’re also listed on the Nordic Stock Exchange and are regulated by the Maltese and UK Gambling Commissions. Safe as houses!

Unibet’s live casino is powered mostly by Evolution and partly by Net Ent, but they also just added Authentic Gaming Roulette. They have some of the most private tables we’ve seen at any online casino, with over 20+ Unibet themed blackjack tables available.

rAll in all, there’s over 100 tables to browse through and they all work smoothly on desktop and mobile devices. They also run weekly ‘tournaments’ (as of writing, on a Saturday but you may want to check yourself), where players compete to get the best win on a single hand or spin or over a time period. This a pretty cool and novel idea, and is certainly something we haven’t seen too much of anywhere else.

Native Tables

At Unibet you can play Roulette with a Greek, Norwegian, Turkish, German, Swedish, Russian or French speaking dealer, all from Evolution Gaming. A lesser seen option Unibet have from Evo, is their Swedish live blackjack option – which is cool to see. Live Roulette with a French croupier, as opposed to French roulette itself, is quite rare too and we’ve only ever come across a couple of casinos that offer it. Unibet’s localisation efforts when it comes to their games was great, and so was their website.

Although on the main English page no option to change language was available, when we visited unibet.de – it was a different story. 20+ languages available were available here, all easily accessible from the top of the main page.

Why they couldn’t offer these on the English site is a mystery to us, but here is the full list of localised sites for you convenience: Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, Belgian, German, French, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Macedonian, Romanian, Estonian and Latvian as well as a bunch of customised sites for different locales but in English. Pretty extensive collection – and thus a feature you’d think they’d want to advertise more of.

Private Tables

Unibet has jumped on this emerging live casino technology in a big way, hosting over 25 private tables with Unibet branding and exclusive offers. The Unibet green and black colours give the tables a futuristic matrix like feel, and the offers and bonuses available are great too. Well worth checking out! The private tables here mostly cover blackjack, but also a few in roulette.

Lastly, Unibet also features some of Evolution’s Salon Prive tables that allow true high rollers to play one on one with a live dealer. This gives unparalleled levels of interaction and an exclusive VIP feel to proceedings – if you’ve got the cash to buy in!

Unibet’s banking system is on the good side of average. They allow the following payment methods for deposits: Paysafecard, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and bank transfers. Although their website has deposit information easily available on the homepage, it doesn’t actually say the processing time for each method.

However we happen to know they are all 24 hours – which if we were Unibet, we’d make clearer to customers as this is a good thing! Skrill & Neteller are also available to use, but only after your first deposit. All methods are also free of charge, except for Paysafecard which is at 3%. This is a firmly decent banking selection, with a few good and bad points but mostly positive.
